With over 40 years of flail mower and mulcher manufacturing experience in partnership with the Willibald company based in Germany, LIPA now manufactures high quality mowers and mulchers in their factory in Italy. LIPA products are well designed and manufactured, using the latest technologies which include laser cutting and robot welders. All LIPA products use high quality materials which stand the test of time, in fact some customers have used the same LIPA mowers for over 20 years, only replacing flail hammers and belts occasionally. Dealer for Lipa and offer a range of different Lipa mowers and shredders, in addition to most wearing parts and service items at our warehouse. The Lipa TLC range of heavy duty tractor mounted flail mowers are designed for use in orchards, vineyards or tree farms.
This mower is designed to mow and mulch materials up to around 3 inches in diameter. These flail mowers feature high quality construction, with heavy duty safety chains and rubber flap at the front, and steel shield at the rear, to help control flying debris. They also feature heavy duty bearings at both ends of the rotor, in addition to both ends of the heavy duty steel roller at the rear of the flail mower. The steel roller is height adjustable and sets the working height of the mower above the ground, to help it follow the ground contours.
The steel roller also features a scraper to help eliminate grass/mud accumulation. The Lipa TLC-150 flail mower weighs 1015 lb.And features 10 heavy duty flails around the rotor. Its driven with 3 drive belts (see photos) and it comes complete with standard 3pt hook ups and a heavy duty PTO shaft (with heavy duty shield). The TLS mowers also come complete with both lower and middle tractor hook-up pins. As with all mowers, safety is a primary concern. We strongly recommend using this mower on a tractor with an enclosed cab, and we strongly suggest you keep all spectators at least 200 feet away from the mower during operation.
